Dress down Friday took on a festive feel at Chigwell Construction when staff came into work wearing their favourite Christmas jumpers to raise money for a very worthwhile cause.
Friday 15th December is “Christmas Jumper Day” in aid of a national charity and the staff at Chigwell Construction decided to take part and raise money for our chosen charity, Haven House Children’s Hospice.
Over the years the charity has supported over 900 families, looking after children and young people aged from birth to 19 years old who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. For more than 10 years now the Chigwell Construction are proud to have supported the charity, raising funds in excess of £200,000 and providing assistance in a variety of ways to help a fantastic cause.
Angela Willcock, Contracts Manager at Chigwell Construction who organised the event says “I was delighted that so many of the team here got behind “Christmas Jumper Day”. It was a great way to raise some more much needed funds for Haven House Children’s Hospice which we are all delighted to support in any way that we can”.
