Our planned investment programmes help enhance and modernise properties through a range of services, including exterior painting, window frame refurbishment, kitchen and bathroom upgrades, and boiler replacements. We also specialise in energy-efficiency improvements, such as external and internal wall insulation and solar PV installations, helping to create more sustainable and cost-effective homes.

Skilled, reliable and highly capable tradesmen that specialise in the necessary fields will be selected according to the project scope and will report to a dedicated Chigwell Construction project manager who will lead all elements of the project from beginning to end of that refurbishment cycle.

We have extensive experience of operating within occupied properties and all the challenges that can pose, ensuring that tenants are not left for lengthy periods without heating, electricity, a kitchen or a bathroom to achieve high customer satisfaction.

And with a dedicated health and safety manager in place looking after our workforce and tenants alike, our company and contractor services are also supported by Gas Safe, CHAS, Safe Contractor, EXOR, NHBC, NICEIC, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, as well as DBS checks undertaken on every employee and external provider.

We have been awarded two major contracts with the London Borough of Redbridge via the CHIC Framework, delivering over £6 million of critical Decent Homes upgrades and fire door remediation works starting in 2026.

London Borough of Hackney Kitchen and Bathroom Programme

Chigwell Construction has secured a 36-month, £1.5 million contract with Enfield Council to deliver comprehensive void property repairs and compliance works, efficiently bringing vacant homes back up to lettable standards.

Karibu Housing Association Day to Day Repairs

We have been awarded a £2 million contract with Karibu Homes to deliver responsive repairs, void works, and emergency backlog clearance across approximately 1,377 properties, supported by a dedicated 24/7 resident call centre.
