Chigwell Group is pleased to announce the purchase of the Freehold of their first ever flagship high street showroom in Collier Row, Romford, and thereby enabling the company to establish permanent roots in the London Borough of Havering.
Situated at 9 – 11 Chase Cross Road, the showroom was opened in March 2016 and soon became the “go to” place in the area for anyone looking to purchase new windows, doors and roof products.
During the years the showroom has also been increasingly involved with many local community events, including hosting the Collier Row Community Groups annual carnival and Christmas celebrations.
Dean Floyd Chairman said. “Since taking on the lease at Collier Row it has become increasingly clear that paying rent for a property where you want to be long term, and which is in the very heart of the London Borough of Havering, was not going to be commercially viable. So I approached the landlord and was delighted when he accepted our offer to purchase the freehold. This investment will now enable us to plan for the future with more certainty and signals our intent of continuing to expand this side of our business.”
Chigwell Window Centre currently has three showrooms, Collier Row, Billericay, Manchester and very soon will be opening their fourth in Loughton.
