Chigwell Group PLC is proud to sponsor Live Unlimited’s new boxing programme for care leavers in Barnet aged 16–20. The sessions are open to everyone, and no previous boxing experience is required.

Live Unlimited’s vision is to ensure that all care-experienced children and young people in Barnet have the opportunity to reach their full potential and lead happy, fulfilling lives. Through initiatives like this programme, they aim to help young people develop life skills, build supportive relationships and networks, reduce isolation, and access the best possible opportunities for their future helping to create opportunities that will help them grow in confidence and live their best lives.

Chigwell Group PLC has strong links with Barnet residents through our property maintenance and refurbishment work that we have carried out there for many years. This work is also carried out throughout London and surrounding counties for clients including Housing Associations and Local Authorities primarily in the social housing sector.

Chigwell Group PLC and its associated companies have a long history of sports sponsorships. This includes an Associate Partnership with the London Stadium, sponsorship of Dagenham and Redbridge FC’s stadium and the Havering Marathon. We also support several school sports teams and local events. Most recently, Chigwell Group PLC signed an official partnership with British heavyweight boxer Moses Itauma, widely considered one of the sport’s most promising young talents and future World Champion.

Chigwell Group Chairman Dean Floyd commented:
“This sponsorship is just one more example of how Chigwell Group PLC is committed to ensuring we leave a lasting legacy within all of the communities in which we operate. We want to ensure we deliver tangible, social values and we are proud to be investing in communities, and continuously dedicating time and funds towards helping local charities and good causes.”

Rachel Century Live Unlimited CEO says. “I first came across Chigwell Group when I was stuck in traffic and noticed one of their vans with the words ‘In a world where you can be anything, be kind’ on the back — a value that sits at the heart of everything we do at Live Unlimited. We’re absolutely thrilled to partner with Chigwell Group PLC on this new boxing programme. Boxing is a brilliant way for care experienced young people to build confidence, discipline and resilience, and we’re equally delighted to be running the sessions at Unitas, where our young people benefit from not only the excellent facilities but also the outstanding coaching and expertise of their team. With Chigwell Group’s generosity and belief in our mission, and our fantastic partnership with Unitas’ Amateur Boxing Club, we can offer opportunities that help care experienced young people in Barnet feel supported, capable and excited about their future.”
