We are proud to announce that Chigwell London, part of the Chigwell Group, has been named as one of the successful companies appointed to the South East Consortium’s (SEC) £300 million Fire Safety Works Framework. This significant industry framework will support essential fire safety upgrades across London and the South East over the next four years.
The framework has been established to help housing providers, local authorities, and other public sector bodies deliver compliant fire safety improvement works – including fire doors, passive fire protection and active fire system installations – in line with current regulatory expectations.
Our Role on the Framework
Chigwell London has been appointed under the Manufacturer Supply and Install of Fire Doors lot, recognising our capability to deliver high-quality fire door solutions that meet stringent safety standards. This selection underscores our expertise in fire safety products and installation services, particularly in delivering compliant and robust passive fire protection across residential and commercial properties.
What the Framework Means
The SEC Fire Safety Works Framework features a diverse line-up of 33 specialist fire safety contractors and manufacturers. It has been structured into five separate lots, covering:
- Passive fire protection
- Active fire protection systems
- Contractor supply and installation of fire door sets
- Manufacturer supply and install of fire doors
- Manufacturer supply only of fire door sets
The inclusion of both manufacturer and contractor partners is designed to give public sector clients flexible, compliant options for fire safety upgrade projects throughout the region.
Why This Matters
With fire safety regulation becoming ever more central to building compliance and tenant wellbeing, frameworks like this will play a vital role in supporting social housing providers and public sector organisations to achieve robust safety outcomes across their assets.
For Chigwell London, being part of this framework reinforces our commitment to high-quality fire safety delivery and strengthens our ability to support clients with supply and installation services that exceed expectations.
Looking Ahead
We look forward to working with clients across the South East as part of this important initiative, helping to deliver safer, compliant buildings through expert fire door solutions and installation services.
