Chigwell London is delighted to announce that we have been awarded Karibu Homes contract for Responsive repairs, Empty homes, Housing disrepair and Planned works.
The Contract was to commence on 1st May 2024, but Chigwell actually started a month earlier on the 1st April 2024 so that we could implement a series of emergency repairs and clear a back log of works.
The contract, worth £2m will be for an initial period of 11 months with the option to extend it by up to seven months to a total contract term of 18 months and consists of circa. 1,377 properties across Brent, Ealing, Elmbridge, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Kensington & Chelsea, Kingston-Upon-Thames, Richmond and Slough.
Chigwell will provide a 24 hour a day, seven days a week call centre function for Karibu customers, offering flexible appointments to ensure a tailored service to meet each residents requirements within a diverse community.
Dean Floyd Chigwell London Managing Director says. “Through extensive negotiations with Karibu Homes we tailored our service proposal to put in place a core ring-fenced workforce so that we could provide continuity for the residents, supported by local and regional directly employed operatives. We are delighted that for the first month of operations Chigwell have delivered improvements in customer satisfaction, appointments made and first time fixes”.
