Chigwell Construction have embraced the principles of the Social Value Act and are always keen to get involved with community engagement, our site managers and resident liaison officers on projects. It underpins everything that we do.
Community matters: From the outset of a project, the Chigwell Construction management team works closely with all our clients, using our experience and expertise to manage each project efficiently. We build-in community-enhancing deliverables to projects where the opportunity exists for effective enhancements that make a positive difference to the people within those communities, as identified via valuable community consultations – amongst other methods.

Enviromental Focus
Certified to ISO 14001 Chigwell Construction has an effective environmental management system in place, and we are committed to maintaining these high standards.
The Chigwell Group is committed to reducing its carbon footprint and achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050, in alignment with the UK government’s targets and Procurement Policy Notice (PPN) 06/21. We have also successfully quantified our Scope 1&2 emissions according to the Carbon Trust Calculator, to which our objective is to achieve complete elimination of Scope 1 emissions by 2035. We are actively engaging Positive Planet to help us to realise this commitment, and have active dialogues with our suppliers to assess available avenues for emission reduction.

However at Chigwell Construction we strongly believe that the management of our environmental impact in order to continually lower our carbon footprint is to the benefit of all our people, our families, our customers, and the beautiful world that we are lucky to inhabit. We take our corporate responsibility seriously so as to have as little impact on the environment as possible, and in addition, we aim to have a positive impact on our environment whenever the opportunity is there to do so.
