Compliance Works
The fundamental reason for building compliance adherence is ensuring the safety of tenant’s and their neighbours. Ensuring that a building complies with regulations is not just a moral obligation but a legal imperative.
GAS & ELECTRICAL (eg. LGSRS, ECIRS, TESTING & INSPECTION), REPAIRS, INSTALLATIONS & MAINTENANCE.
A tenant’s home is designed to shelter and protect inhabitants and their assets. Compliance with building codes, fire regulations and structural standards is essential to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
Chigwell Construction undertake a wide range of compliance works on behalf of our clients. As well as undertaking Landlord Gas Safety Record (LGSRs) testing and inspection and Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs – in line with our NICEIC accreditation) we also undertake specialist works such as Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs), Asbestos Testing, Energy Performance Certifications (EPCs), Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) and Legionella Testing through our established supply chain.
Empowered by expert knowledge to then carry out any required remedial works, we look to make safe any property falling short of the current standards. This may involve the removal of potentially hazardous materials, or indeed re-working potentially dangerous installations already in situ to make the property fully compliant.
Once compliant, we then coordinate and maintain all certifications and records, and hold them within our BigChange project management platform for our respective clients to be able to freely access anytime.
